Exciting new location, even more great dancers… Same fantastic vibe! - Already Holland’s biggest and best annual salsa event, the 2019 Amsterdam International Salsa Festival is going to blow your mind. This lucky seven edition will be the biggest to date and the most international with salsa stars flying in from places as diverse as Venezuela, Spain, Ukraine, Cuba, United States and many more... 

- Workshops, shows and lots of fun - 
From Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 January, Amsterdam will again become salsa central. Start your year in style with the finest salsa instructors and performers, including six times world champions Adrian and Anita. 
Following our famous pre-party on Thursday night, the next three days will all begin with workshops by local and international stars. The days will then go further with various activities and a great international showcase for you to enjoy every evening. Add in all the social gatherings and you have a day or even a whole weekend to remember.

- Sunday night spectacular - 
Get ready also for a spectacular final shake of your hips on Sunday evening as we top off the bill with Tromboranga. This fabulous band of musicians from the Caribbean and Europe will come straight from their performance in Colombia just a few nights before. Don’t miss it!

Why the new location?
It was not our original intention to find a new place this year but we were left with no choice when the owner of our usual venue double booked one of the days.
This would have mean restrictions on what we could do and who could be there… And that’s not the way we do things at the Amsterdam International Salsa Festival! Instead, we have taken the challenge as an inspiration to find an even better place for the
event, and we’re sure you’ll be impressed. The new venue The Box will be able to accommodate even more people in style, allowing you to come together with dance lovers from around the world.
