Would you like to meet Latin American people and get in touch with our different cultures? Would you like to improve your Spanish and have fun with us? This is the place you were looking for! Join our activities and/or our weekly dinners every thursday!
ALAS Groningen was founded by students, in October 22nd 2010, recognizing the needs and interests of the Latin American students and those interested in Latin America in Groningen.
We are a student association linked to the University of Groningen, but we also kindly receive students from the Hanze University and people who don’t study but would like to know more about Latin America!
As a non-profit organization without political or religious affiliations, we promote the values of honesty, solidarity and social responsibility. Our integrative vision lets us be open for all students in Groningen (past, present and future) interested in Latin America to join.
We are here to help students from all over Latin America to integrate and adapt better to the city of Groningen, we have weekly dinners (on Thursdays 18hs at Pacific Bar) and we have activities throughout the month to get to know each other and all of our different cultures.
The weekly to dinner together you can find us every Thursday from at 18:00 in Pacific Pub (Oosterstraat 65). Additionally we organize special events, check out our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ALAS.Groningento being up to date.
