On International Women’s Day, Poetic Motion presents a special Ladies Weekend, created for experienced women from the Salsa scene who wish to gift themselves two days of depth, connection, and joy through dance. A weekend to step away from roles, expectations, and distractions. To sink into your body, deepen your dance, and be fully present, with yourself and with other women.

This weekend is not about performance or `doing more`.
It is about feeling, awareness, refinement, and shared experience.
Salsa is what connects us.

But when women come together in movement, something extra emerges: recognition, strength, softness, and a natural kind of magic… grounded, real, and fully in the moment.

Who is this weekend for?
This event is designed for women with Salsa experience who:
... want to deepen their dance and feminine expression
are curious about the connection between body, cycle, and movement.
... wish to dance without judgment or performance pressure
want to connect with other women from the Salsa scene
... are ready to gift themselves a weekend of presence and attention

What can you expect?
Two days in which dance is used as a language of awareness.
You will work on technique and feeling, presence and enjoyment.

Saturday = Dance, Awareness & Depth

12:00 – 12:45
Body Movement – Gina Abbate
A soft, conscious, and grounded start to the day. We connect with the body, open freedom of movement, and bring attention inward. Gina will guide you through the basic techniques for a smooth flow of energy through your dancing body.

12:50 – 13:50
Your Salsa Styling – Vivienne Vicente
Discover how your styling can naturally arise from your body and movement when energy is free to flow.

13:55 – 15:25
Hormones in Motion – Natasja Spaans (cycluswijs.nl)
A deepening session about the female cycle and its influence on our daily lives as women and how this expresses itself in social dance. More understanding, recognition, and attunement to yourself. Awareness as a source of strength.

15:30 – 16:30
Salsa Following Skills – Gina, Vivienne & Martina
Refine your following, increase your sensitivity, and learn to dance with more confidence, ease, and presence.

Sunday = Expression, Self-Awareness & Connection

12:00 – 13:30
Salsa Ladies Choreo – Martina Placeres
Dance from expression, musicality, and feminine power. Moving, feeling, and enjoying together.

13:30 – 15:00
Sound & Embodiment - Rosa Beesemer
Let YOU be heard, through voice and gentle movement.
By making sound, breathing, and allowing the body to move lightly and intuitively, expression can flow more freely. Voice and movement support each other.

15:00 – 16:00
Lunch & Talk
A relaxed moment to come together, share experiences, and deepen connection.
