The iconic Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival is back on the scene. An event you can't afford to miss, whether you're a lover of Spain, culture, or movies.

From the 24th until the 26th of November the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival will introduce some of the most acclaimed and latest Spanish movies. As is the tradition, the festival offers a rich lineup featuring a variety of films, from established filmmakers to emerging talents in the Spanish cinema panorama.

A 360-degree Spanish experience. The festival bridges Iberian cinema with its delectable gastronomy, featuring special guests and Spanish drinks and bites to create a unique atmosphere and provide an unparalleled experience for our audience.

This year’s edition will take place at the emblematic location of Pathé Tuschinski, Eye Filmmuseum, and LAB111.

OPENING FILM PREMIERE: MODELO 77 (PRISON 77)

Modelo 77 will open the 9th edition of the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival. The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alberto Rodríguez, takes us on a journey through the Spanish penitentiary system just after the end of the dictatorship in 1977. Watch the trailer.
