Sunday 11 August:
11:00 - 12:00 Son Partnering
12:00 - 13:00 Son Guaguancó
13:00 - 14:00 Son Afro

*All intermediate [minimum 6+ months salsa experience to join the Son workshops]

What to expect?

Saturday 10 August:
* You will learn how Son originated in Cuba.
* Musicality skills that will allow you to connect with the rhythm through any musical instrument used in Son bands.
* You will learn musically to differentiate between Traditional Son, Guaracha, and Son Montuno.
* We will start from scratch, learning basic concepts and various essential partner figures of Son.
* Cuban Son Styling techniques for body, arms, and elegance during dancing.
* You will receive feedback during the class to improve your style and skills.

Sunday 11 August:
* Figures and combinations will have a higher degree of complexity than the previous day.
* The pace of the class will be faster than the previous day.
* You will learn to blend Son with Rumba Guaguancó and Son with Afro-Cuban.
* You will receive information on how these 2 modalities originated: Son-Guaguancó & Son-Afro

No need to subscribe with a partner, however, it`s always fun to bring your dance buddy.
