In this bootcamp, you’ll learn or strenghten the foundations of Son Cubano, one of the most important dance and music styles in Cuban culture.

The best part is that Son is not only a genre on its own: it is also the root and father of Casino.

Many elements we use today in Casino come directly from Son: the walk, the contratiempo, the posture, the pauses, and even many basic figures.

Understanding Son helps you improve your timing, body movement, partner connection, and musicality, taking you from simply doing steps to truly dancing.

Level: Intermediate – ideal for dancers with some Son experience, or salsa dancers at an intermediate to advanced level.
