Friday, 10th of April | CONCERT &SOCIAL Guillaume Marcenac & Gerardo Rosales – Charanjazz

From mambo and cha-cha-cha to joropo and guaguancó: all kinds of danceable styles from Latin America are mixed together in Charanjazz. Vocals, violin, virtuoso piano, and percussion that will have you dancing in your seat: this is a concert to listen to, but also to dance to. The music is Latin jazz and the five band members come from all over the world: Cuba, Venezuela, Spain, France, and the Netherlands.

In Charanjazz, we recognize singer and violinist Myrthe van de Weetering, who previously played with us with her own ensemble. The band is led by classically trained pianist Guillaume Marcenac and experienced percussionist Gerardo Rosales, who has been performing on our stage for 25 years.

After the concert, there will be a Cuban salsa party in our café with a fantastic view, where you can dance until the early hours. Salsa Panorama, organized by Salsa District, has become a tradition at the BIMHUIS.
